Oh my goodness, dis ho sho did get busy at the end of last year! Lots of new goodies for the new year too! Wrapping up 2007: First and foremost The Gospel According to Ho--the one woman show that I produced and starred in at Ars Nova was a fantastic start to what I hopes turns into an ongoing relationship with this theater! We sold the bitch out and that's always an amazing feeling! Ben Rimalower directed and it was such a flow-flow experience...like a red rivah flowin! We worked the bitch out, rehearsed it, and then I went home and wrote my ho ass off, and it paid off! We are now talking development of the show with Ars Nova--this means mama can be an artist and not have to worry all about dis bizness! o-KAY? More on that later! I went home to Kansas City for Chrima and my parents got a puppy and she is the cutest thing in the world! Her name Shelby and I almost squeezed the life out of her cuz she is THAT CUTE!! She's a wheaten terrier, or as I like to call em TOO CUTE TO BE ALIVE! Look at that baby with mama and daddy. They were meant to be! Now if only my mama could learn to take a picture. oh well. I'm gonna love her forever! you too, mama, i'm gonna love you forever!!!
Now I'm back in NYC and just tryin to get my groove back. How does a ho like me do that? Well, I like Bikram Yoga...you know...sweat yo' prayers, y'allz.
